Just installed ubuntu. I cannot configure my monitor correctly. everything is very large and I can only see what would be the upper right of all windows. When I try to change this in 'system' --> display, i get this message: 'It appears your doesnt support the necessary extensions to use this tool.Do you want to use your graphics driver vendor's tool instead?' If I say yes it opens the NVIDIA X Server Settings. In there under X Server Display Configuration under 'layout' it says '(hidden because screen height is under 600 pixels)'. I cant change the resolution to anything over 640x480. Any Suggestions?? Thank You
