UNUNTU INSTALLATION PROBLEM,,.

Hi guys,,. i got a new ubuntu installation cd,. i was doing a clean install,. when i click install now, ma screen turns black and ma monitor seems black for a longer time,,. and nothing s happenin,,.

tried it with many versions but everythin seems to b lik this,, wat should i have to do?? do i have to change any bios settings??

my system config is,,.

ASUS P5KPL-CM MOTHERBOARD
INTEL CORE2DUO PROCESSOR E7300 @2.66GHZ
NVIDIA 512 GRAPHIC CARD
2 GB RAM
GENERIC PNP MONITOR

WIL UBUNTU SUPPORT MY CONFIG??
IF YES, THN Y IT ISN.T INSTALLING??
