Hi all iv just installed ubuntu in to my laptop not a problem! half the HD for that slow OS made by Bill and the other half for ubuntu, so with the same cd, iv tried to install in my much older desk top only got 256mb ram so upgraded that with a 512mb stick got small HD 40gb will up grade that one day but for now it will do my CPU is 2ghz so i went for the hole lot and do away with the old OS yes xp made by Bill! any ways it was all going well till 78% i know the disk is working but im stuck i even tried a usb pen made in ubuntu but my bios dont boot from usbs! Any ideas any one?
