Default Ubuntu Desktop

How can I restore the desktop to it's original Ubuntu desktop as it appears just after a new instlall?

If by desktop you mean background only, right click on an empty desktop , left click on change desktop background and take your pick.

Maybe he means themes? Goto System>Preferences>Themes. Then choose Human.
