Help Getting GUI on Ubuntu Server

I installed Ubuntu Server 7.04 for my boss and he wants a GUI on it. I've spent the past hour to hour and a half scouring Google trying to find solutions and nothing has worked so far. The main problem is that I am not connected to the internet and I have been unable to install packages from the install cd. Any words/commands of wisdom?I've tried the following commands:apt-get install ubuntu-desktopaptitude install ubuntu-desktopapt-cdrom add (to mount the cdrom as someone else suggested)No luck. Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks.

Since you do not yet have Internet on that computer you can add cd-rom's as repositories and should be able to get the desktop installed by placing the cdrom in the drive and running Code:sudo apt-cdrom addIf you have Internet access you will enter one of the following commands depending upon the desktop that you prefer you can do it with one simple command:Gnome Desktop:Code:sudo apt-get install ubuntu-desktoporsudo aptitude install ubuntu-desktopKDE Desktop: Code:sudo apt-get install kubuntu-desktoporsudo aptitude install kubuntu-desktopXFCE Desktop:Code:sudo apt-get install xubuntu-desktoporsudo aptitude install xubuntu-desktop
