How to install Partition Editor (GParted)

Prerequisites: add universe and multiverse repositories.

Open a terminal window and type in:
sudo apt-get install gparted

After that you can find GParted in the Gnome menu under Applications -> System Tools.

i'm completely new to ubunto and i think i made a mistake and now i have 2 versions of ubuntu installed... netbook and desktop version. I've already eliminated windows from my system, and i can't install gparted tghe way you mention because on console it requests me a password but i can't write anything... can you help me please? i really want this hard disk "clean".
