Install Flash

I'm quite the windows guy, but completely new to ubuntu. I downloaded Flash and put it in tmp but how do I get it installed. I'm a noob..so please go slow.

Read https://help.ubuntu.com/community/RestrictedFormats#head-72bdc20d068d618... You mostly install things from a repository in Linux, not anything just off the web.  It's safer this way.
