I am trying to install Ubuntu 7.04 from a CD on a machine with an old display: Samsung SyncMaster 3. However after the initial Ubuntu bars apear, the whole screen gets full of mixed up lines. I tried to lower the resolution using key F4 but it did not help. I saw on the Internet some suggestions on how to use this display but all of them assume that Ubuntu is already installed :-).Any hints?-- tsf
