For the past month or so I've been struggling to build an Ubuntu Server machine. The latest issue is: Linux + DG965OT = frustration! What's going on is that (X)Ubuntu installs, but then on reboot, the bootloader can't find the install (or something like that). Just to test out my hardware, I installed XP which installed and ran fine.
Intel claims that there are hardware components on my board, DG965OT, for which Linux drivers do not exist. Anyone have any experience with something like this? Are there any 3rd party drivers out there that could help? I'm not sure which components on the board would need special drivers.
