can any 1 tell me how to configure 2 lancards? eth0 and eth1.eth0 is configured with public ip, want to configure eth1 for local network. help please

my Kubuntu ist german. I'll try to figure out the english menu-names.

K-Menu -> System-Settings -> Network -> Button Administration mode -> [enter password] -> here you can choose a device and configure it as you like.
