ubuntu network problem

hello i am using win xp sp3.in that i used ubuntu with virtual box,in that i am not getting net.when i try to ping my dns or gateway it is getting reply form my sys ip and it is showing destination host unreachable.what can i do can u help me.

Unbuntu 9.04 network issue

I have two PC's running this version and both worked fine when updated from 8.10 on the network...However as of last week neither will connect, neither will receive a DHCP from server and neither can be made to work manually? Anyone else have this problem?
