Restore original appearance and theme
Hi,
Can someone please help me restore my appearance and theme to its original settings. I made it look like a mac but now I don't want to.
So I tried changing it to the original look but the buttons feature (close, minimize, maximize) still look like a mac. It looks like this:

I'm new to ubuntu btw. So if you know how to, can you please explain it step by step.
Thanks in advance!

Remove Gnome Settings
Open up a terminal
Applications -> Accessories -> Terminal
We need to remove all these sections, they store gnome settings
The folders to remove are: .gconf, .gconfd, .gnome, .gnome2, etc.
So do this command:
rm -Rf .gconf .gconfd .gnome .gnome2
Then log out and log back in (or reboot if you prefer)
A new person should Never use rm -Rf NEVER!!!
All you have to do was go to System-> Preferences-> Appearance ->
Customize -> Window Border
