Unable to make HP webcam work with 9.10

I was not able to make that webcam to work on 9.04 and not on current version of Ubuntu. Strangely enough, the built-in mike works alright. Any clue anyone out there?

Yes, I had the same Problem.
Now there is a new Kernel out there,
and the Webcam works great.
