No Sound on my Dell Latitude D810

I am new to Ubuntu and so far really like it, one problem I have encountered is my sound on my laptop stopped working. I installed Ubuntu 9.10, fresh install, no other OS. After I did the install everything was working, sound, wireless network, email but somewhere along the way I lost my sound. Can't seem to get it back, any ideas?
