Skype & Logitech Quickcam Pro 5000

Hi all.

I am running Ubuntu 9.10 with Skype 2.0.0.72.
Audio side is fine and works great but I have a strange problem with my webcam which is a Logitech Quickcam Pro 5000.
Outgoing video works fine and I get compliments on the quality, but there is no incoming video, nor does it show my outgoing video.
Skype is set to auto-receive from anyone.
I am new to Linux and have probably done something daft.
Can anyone help?
