cannot able to play games

i m not able to play counter strike on my ubuntu 9.10........not only cs but other games are also not running.

i have graphics card of ATI 512MB

please tell me what to do

You must see that CounterStrike is a program for Microsoft Windows - and you are running Linux. What have you done to try and get it to run???
