Verizon UMW190 Global Modem installation

I am unable to load working drives for the Verizon Wireless UMW190 Global USB Modem in to Ubuntu. The modem works very well in Windows.

I had Verizon to contact the manufacture for assistances and I was told that there is software but it is only for business with 25 lines or more. Think this is a bunch of bull and need assistance in this matter.
