New Google Feature - Google Command Line
Google released a new tool to use the service from Google. Unlike usual, this tool uses command-line interface or better known as the CLI (Command Line Interface). Named GoogleCL.
If you don't understand what it is about the CLI, just imagine DOS in Windows OS. That is one example of the CLI. A 'weird' feature according to me personally, where now all use the GUI but Google returned to the CLI. But clearly I believe Google has the exact reason for making this tool.
When this article was written, GoogleCL can be used to google service:
* Blogger
$ google blogger post --title "foo" "command line posting"
* Calendar
$ google calendar add "Lunch with Jim at noon tomorrow"
* Contacts
$ google contacts list name,email > contacts.csv
* Docs
$ google docs edit --title "Shopping list"
* Picasa
$ google picasa create --album "Cat Photos" ~/photos/cats/*.jpg
* Youtube
$ google youtube post --category Education killer_robots.avi
LOL, it looks old but cool:) I liked it all. I think this is very useful for people that have the small bandwidth to open the website directly. Surely the risk to memorize the command google:) But I'm sure, by using that with continuous, it'll be automatically memorized.
