Create a Bootable USB drive based on the confiuration on my desktop

I currently have Ubuntu 10.04 installed on my desktop and I want to make a bootable usb drive with the same setup as on my desktop.

Can I create an image from my current machine that will run from a usb without having to install and configure the applications separately?

Thank You,

Barb

Creating USB image from current desktop

You most certainly can chapslawgeek. A nice program called Remastersys can accomplish this quite easily.

That will take you to their Ubuntu page, and if you are having any troubles, there are a lot of good tutorials around, or feel free to contact me.
