iTunes in kubuntu

I have tried using itunes in kubuntu with Wine. Wine runs well until you try to open the progams and it says the progarams has not been well installed. I am only trying to load my iPod so if their is another program that would help too.

line without using any player by a utility called SOX.
More often than not, SOX is available in your distro’s
repository.
