I installed aMule one month ago , (never used eMule, I hate computers before discovering linux world) and it worked really good. When I set the donw and upload limits very high I could transfer till 400-500k!
So a pity , it resisted just 3 days and then crashed down, first my amule could just upload and suddenly it could nor connect.
I searched in the forum several times and as I didn't found nothing similar I finally decided to post this.
I don't know, maybe that's me that I'm so stupid.......I recentl uploaded the last ubuntu's version and aMule 2.1.2 . It say " not valid server founded in server list" and "not connected:kad off"
I just put this server list but it doesn't work: http://ocbmaurice.dyns.net/pl/slist.pl?download/server-best.met

eBox management tool will effectively and easily help you managing the advanced services for your corporate network. eBox is a framework for the development and deployment of network services in small and medium-sized networks, offering a simplified graphical interface to non expert users. It can be set up as a gateway, having some extra features over a usual router. http://www.debianhelp.co.uk/ebox.htm

While in in Adept go ahead and install MySQL 5
If you want nice management tools go ahead and install kmysqladmin and
mysqladmin (I use these both)
OR once Apache is installed and working you can install PHPMyAdmin from
2. Close Adept and open a terminal and execute (answer yes to any output

$ apt-get install apache2 apache2-common apache2-doc apache2-mpm-prefork
apache2-utils libapr0 libexpat1 ssl-cert
*Now we install PHP 5 (add any php libs you need; although, this covers

Just like in breezy i wanted to install kde trough synaptic.It was a breezy :p.But then i saw that when you add the universe server, xfce (xubuntu) is also simple to install!Now i have these WMs:- GNOME- KDE- ICEWM- FLUXBOX- ENLIGHTMENT- WINDOW MAKER etc... (I know i forgot a lot of them...)
The 1st Distro i ever installed and used was suse 10.0 ... So now i used ubuntu for about a half-year it was time for me to uninstall windows and dualboot with suse 10.1 i thought.Well the installation look nice, i didn't see any difference with 10.0 (only the booting).But when i installed my system (i choose to install a base gnome system) the trouble begon.Possitive aspects of Suse -> Ubuntu:- Uses YaST2, what is a GREAT Conf tool!Negative aspects:- You cannot change the loginscreen graphically.- You use RPM, so no apt-geting here.- And a lot of other things.It just was (i think) less freedom then in Linspire... So i tested my other cd that i have left... a Fedora Core 5 install cd.So i 1st cleaned up the partition of suse, put the cd into my cd-player and...NOTHING! it just followed up to the GRUB screen.. and booted with ubuntu...Now i am still searching for a rpm distro...
Im a ubuntu lover :) and i will post here all my stories.... lolJust discovered this site.. always looked for a ubuntu community website... but now i found one!:P
