PARTITION - PROBLEMS WITH INSTALATION

Hi,I'm trying to install Ubuntu 7.04 on my PC, its an INTEL CORE 2 DUO 1GB 160 HD. I start the system by the boot CD and click install on desktop. It starts the installation but it get to the partition step shows only the manual optionAfter that, on the screen that should show all the partition, it shows nothing and I can't go on.Can anybody help me?ThanksEvandro

For what it's worth, have you tried installing from the Alternate Installation CD? You can burn a copy from http://mirrors.gigenet.com/ubuntu/7.10/ubuntu-7.10-alternate-i386.iso . (for Gutsy, x86) It's just like the other disc except that it isn't a Live CD; you'll boot immediately into the installation interface. The Daily Ubuntu - Get a new Ubuntu Linux application on a daily basis.
