Please Help. No sound on my IBM Thinkpad T43

Hello. I have no sound on my IBM Thinkpad T43 in ubuntu dapper. I have sound on windows, so the soundcard works. I have checked the mute and the sound is on maximum. The driver seems to be loaded correctly as well. I have googled a bit and found this page:https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+source/alsa-utils/+bug/21804It said here that the solution was to flip a bit. But I have only used linux for about 6 months, so I don't know how to do this.

LOL. Ok, I solved the issue. I have a button on my T43 which mutes the sound. I just pushed this button, and it worked :p
