(can u spk english pls bcos im a 55 yr old mn n dnt spk txt) Have a look at http://apcmag.com/5459/dualboot_ubuntu_and_windows_xp
Use VIRTUALBOX and install no dual boot needed.
Install VIRTUALBOX from synaptic or apt-get and then add users to vboxuser group and reboot. Then open virtualbox and install a new windowsxp session on the virtualbox. This is much quicker and better than a dual boot system. If you have a descent cpu then clicking on vbox and oppening up a windowsxp window inside of Ubuntu and virtualbox is quick and simple.http://www.virtualbox.org/
