I have tried to get electricsheep up and running to no avail. It ran under Badger, but not Drake.

Under Drake it tries, then fails, to get the first sheep.

If I move sheep from my earlier install into the .sheep folder, it can play those through mplayer, but the mplayer window resizes each time the sheep is renewed.

I guess you are talking about the screensaver electricsheep. I didn't know this one. I made an apt-get install. Activated the screensaver. Clicked on the Test-Button. Nothing happened. I made an apt-get remove and that's it.
